Here is a promo release put out as part of Warner Bros. 'Soil Samples' series; a acoustic cover version of the Marc Bolan song. It's backed with a track by Californian noise-merchant Mr. Bungle, which is a difficult listen, and makes for an odd pairing. (Presumably somewhere on the Internet is a site devoted to rare Mr. Bungle promos complaining about a wacked-out Oklahoma band wasting space on the A-side of this 7"...) This promo was a 7" only issue on grey vinyl, with a jukebox-type centre hole. The 'Lips appeared again on a Soil Samples promo in '95 with What's the New Mary Jane? b/w Under Pressure.
